Ministries
CLERGY
The priest is available for Spiritual Direction, Confirmation Classes, and special classes and offices. Office hours are on Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, or by appointment. There is also a deacon serving St. Peter’s. They assist with ministerial outreach to the community at large.
BISHOP’S COMMITTEE
This elected group of Lay people serve as the main leadership of the church for its financial and program needs. The members serve three year terms.
ALTAR GUILD
The silent ministry. Caring and preparing the Altar for Worship is at the heart of Altar Guild Service.
ADULT FORUM
This ministry is made up of dedicated individuals who prepare lessons and activities to assist the congregation in its spiritual growth.
LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS AND LAY VISITORS
Specially trained members administer the Chalice during the Eucharist Service and take the Bread and Wine to shut ins after the service.
LAY READERS
Members of the Congregation receive training so they may read the Old and New Testament scriptures during the Worship Service.
CHOIR
The choir prepares in special practices and sings frequently throughout the Program Year. They also perform special musical performances for the Christmas and Easter Services.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE
This Committee plans social functions throughout the year for the building of community within the parish.
YARD WORK CREW
Our wonderful volunteers who mow and clip the shrubs are exceptional.
